SLAGLE FAMILY CEMETERY
Section 12 ,Twp. 14N, Range 13W of the 3rd Principal Meridian

Private long unused family pioneer cemetery on the farm of Carl Bean, about 8 miles northeast of Winchester, Scott Co., IL. Cemetery is on a small tree covered knoll about 200 yards west of the Bean house. All stones are partly buried.
(Note: This cemetery has been bulldozed to make a pond. The stones are piled against a tree.)

    A restoration of this cemetery was made several years ago and the stones reset as a memorial and a fence installed. Can provide details to anyone interested. It is the last time I saw it in need of a good cleaning of brush.
